About Studio Red.Cat.

Studio Red.Cat. is a painting and etching studio, where art and science meet through practice and concept. The name is derived from a studying trick used by chemistry students to remember that in a redox reaction, the reduction occurs at the cation. "Remember the red cat". The phrase fit, since the reaction between copper plates and ferric chloride solution during the etching process is a redox reaction.
